Astrology is the knowledge of each of those natural things in this creation of Brahma. Just like day and night sunrise, sunset date, constellation, and the movement of the earth, the realization of Yuga Kalpadi is astrology. The rise of astrology is associated with the rise of creation itself. Vedas are the foundation of the culture of mankind. It is from the Vedas that we get the knowledge of religion and virtue. All the knowledge has come from the Vedas. The Vedas have six parts. Education, Kalpa, Grammar, Nirukta, Chanda and Astrology. These are the six parts of the Vedas. Maharishi Panini has called astrology the eye of the Vedas in these consorts ‘ज्योतिषामयनम् चक्षुः’ Which is also the motto of my logo. Just as a man is unable to see anything without an eye, in the same way, astrology has great importance to know the knowledge of Vedas. The astrological influence can be known from time to time. Astrology expresses the entire life course, from the womb to death, and after that the knowledge of the hereafter-rebirth and the state of the past. Sh. Varahamihar Acharya Ji says –

यदुपचितमन्यजन्मनि शुभाशुभं तस्य कर्मणः पक्तिम्।
व्यञ्जयति शास्त्रमेतत् तमसि द्रव्याणि दीप इव।। (लघुजातक)
कर्मार्जितं पूर्वभवे सदादि यत्तस्य पक्तिं समभिव्यनक्ति।। (बृहज्जातक)

Whatever Auspicious Karma has done in other births, it expresses its fruit and the time of receiving it, as clearly as the lamp of matter in darkness. That is why astrology has been called the eye of the Vedas. Astrology is the only means to decide the age of good knowledge of agriculture, business, industry, sacrifice, and life journey. Therefore, astrology has major importance in our life.

Venkatesh has also said in his Venkateswara Siddhanta –

श्रुत्युत्तमाङ्गमिदमेव यतो नियोगः कालेऽयनर्तुतिथिपर्वदिनादिपूर्वे
 वेदीककुब्भवनकुण्डादरादिज्ञेयं स्फुटं श्रुतिविदां बहुमान्यमस्मात् ॥

Astrology itself has been considered the main organ (eye) of the Vedas because Vedic rituals are used in North/South Ayan, season, date, festival, day, etc. Pure knowledge of Yajnavedi, direction, Yajnamandap, Kund, and their expansion (measurement) is necessary. Therefore, the knowledge of astrology is unanimous for the Vedas. Astrology has been propounded in all other scriptures to provide the most essential knowledge in performing Vedic activities.
